I refer to the response to Question on Notice 5480 in relation to the sponsorship agreement with Bupa, and ask: (a) What was the total income received by the Department of Health (DOH) for each year the agreement has been in place; (b) When did the audit process commence: (i) What was the reason for the audit process; (c) Who was the most senior officer (job title only) within DOH to sign off and approve the agreement: (i) On what date was the agreement approved; and (d) Did the current or former Minister for Health sign off, approve or note the agreement in any way (and if so, which option): (i) On what date did this occur?

I am advised:
(a) Bupa provided $2,500 sponsorship of the WA Nursing Midwifery Excellence Awards (WANMEA) in 2017 only.
(b) The audit process of WANMEA occurred in 2019 in preparation for the 2019-20 WANMEA.
(i) The audit process commenced as a new event coordination provider has been engaged for the preparation of the 2020 awards.
(c) The Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer (CNMO).
(i) 8 March 2017.
