(1) I refer to Responsible Parenting Agreements (RPA) and I ask, how many RPAs did the Department of Education (DoE) enter into for each of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 (to date)? (2) Does the number of RPAs in (1) include those originated by DoE but implemented by another agency, such as the Department for Child Protection and Family Support? (3) If yes to (2), will the Minister for Education provide a breakdown for RPAs: (a) initiated and implemented by the DoE; (b) initiated by the DoE but implemented by another agency; and (c) for each RPA in (3)(b), please indicate which agency? (4) If no to (2), how many RPAs were initiated by the DoE but implemented by another agency (please indicate which agencies)?

(1) The Department of Education reports to the Department for Child Protection and  Family Support on a financial year basis for their annual reporting requirements.  Therefore, the data is provided in financial, rather than calendar, years. The number of Responsible Parenting Agreements entered into by the Department of  Education and reported to the Department for Child Protection and Family  Support is as follows:
2010/11  5
2011/12 7
2012/13 18
2013/14 35
(2) No.
(3)(a)-(c) Not applicable.
(4) None.  The Department of Education works collaboratively with other agencies to develop Responsible Parenting Agreements with parents, but does not initiate  Responsible Parenting Agreements on behalf of other agencies.
