I refer to question on notice No. 2577 and question on notice No. 2599, both asked in the Legislative Council on 17 February 2015, and ask: (a) given that the company
conducts the intra-town bus service routes known numerically as 001, 002, 003,
004, 005, 006, and 007 as well as having one spare bus, and that the Minister
has stated that the company operates eight buses only under contract to the
Department of Transport (DoT), with which part of the DoT are the contracts with the buses and
routes known as ‘Gibson', ‘Myrup’, ‘Neridup’, ‘Scaddan’ and ‘Cape Le Grande’
held and what are the nature of these contracts; (b) if the company does not
hold contracts with School Bus Services Division, why was an operational visit
by staff from the School Bus Services Unit made in December 2014; (c) will the Minister table any
and/or all reports that resulted from this visit; (d) if no to (c), why not; (e) will the Minister table any
and/or all reports that have resulted from all visits and inspections conducted
by the DoT in relation to the buses and routes known as ‘Gibson',
‘Myrup’, ‘Neridup’, ‘Scaddan’ and ‘Cape Le Grande’; (f) if no to (e), why not; (g) will the Minister clarify
how many buses the company operates, and how many children these contracts
transport each month, under contract with the DoT; and (h) if no to (g), why not?

(a) Bus routes 'Gibson', 'Myrup', 'Neridup', 'Scaddan' and 'Cape Le Grande' are 'orange' school bus services which is managed by the Public Transport Authority's School Bus Services Unit. These contracts are not held in the name of Redlion Bus and Coach.
