FOREST PRODUCTS COMMISSION — STATISTICS
322. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the Minister for Forestry:
I refer to the Forest Products
Commission's Statistics 2020–2021 , which was published
on 19 October 2021, and given that it is now March 2023, I ask the following.
(1) When will the FPC publish its
2021–22 statistics?
(2) Will the minister instruct the
FPC to publish its 2021–22 statistics by the end of this financial
year?
(3) If no to (2), why not?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(3) The
Forest Products Commission makes every effort to publish this historical data
within an appropriate time frame. However, competing priorities have delayed
the 2021–22 statistics being finalised. I have instructed the FPC to
prioritise the publishing of the 2021–22 statistics by the end of this
financial year and I thank the honourable member for bringing this matter to my
attention.
