I refer to the shortages in the number of teachers in Western Australia, and I ask -
(1) Has the Government considered approaching the Universities to ask that the 1 year post-graduate teaching diploma be offered as a 2 or 3 year part-time diploma?
(a) If yes, when would such a course commence; and
(b) if no, will the Government consider approaching the Universities to ask them to consider commencing such a program?
