(1) Has the
seniors housing strategy now been completed?
(2) If not, why
not, and when will it be completed?

representing the Minister for Housing, I thank the member for notice of the
question. The Minister for Housing has provided the following information.
(1) No. The strategy is currently in
its final stage of development.
(2) The
Department of Communities has been undertaking extensive and ongoing
consultation with older Western Australians, industry, the community sector and
government. I expect the release of the future directions for seniors housing
paper prior to the last quarter of 2019.
