On behalf of the Leader of the House, I thank the Leader of the Opposition for some notice of the question. The Premier has supplied the following answer - (1)-(2) The tenders were conditionally accepted in October 2000 prior to the conduct of trials. The trials were conducted by nominated members, not by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, and a written evaluation has not been located. (3) I table the correspondence dated 10 January 2001 from the then Department of Contract and Management Services to Parakeelia Pty Ltd advising it of its failure to meet the conditions specified in the letter of conditional acceptance. (4) Not applicable. [See paper 2183.]
