REFORMS
1416. Hon PETER COLLIER to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
I refer to the proposed reforms to
the firearms laws.
(1) What is the
estimated cost of the required IT system to cope with the increased
administrative burden that will be placed on the Western Australia Police Force
to track compliance?
(2) What is the
estimated compensation that will need to be paid to firearms owners who will be
required to surrender their firearms under the proposals?
