(1) The Regional Radio Network (RRN) project received funding, in each financial year, from the following sources:
(a) Total of $1.0m in capital was funded through Police Metropolitan Radio Network (PMRN) Expansion and Regional Radio Planning in 2008-2009 funded from Government as an equity injection.
(b) Nil.
(c) Total of $6.7m in capital was allocated by the Royalties for Regions Regional Infrastructure Headworks Fund in 2010-2011 towards the Regional Community Safety Network and of this actual expenditure was $1.019m in 2010-2011.
(d) Total of $34.4m ($33.1m capital and $1.3m recurrent) was allocated by the Royalties for Regions Regional Infrastructure Headworks Fund in 2011-2012 towards the Regional Community Safety Network and of this actual expenditure was $25.939m in capital and $0.397m in recurrent for 2011-2012.
(e) Total of $12.1m ($10m capital and $2.1m recurrent) was allocated by the Royalties for Regions Regional Infrastructure Headworks Fund in 2012-2013 towards the Regional Community Safety Network and of this actual expenditure was $8.187m in capital and $2.832m in recurrent for 2012-2013.
(2) The money was spent on infrastructure, administration and services for the RRN and the Regional Community Safety Network projects. Breakdown has been provided as follows:
(a-b) Initial planning, design and procurement contracts for the RRN project in 2008-2010.
(c) 2010-11 Regional Community Safety Network Infrastructure and Administration.
(d-e) 2011-13 Regional Community Safety Network Infrastructure, Services and Administration.
(3-4) Contracts entered into in relation to the RRN/ Regional Community Safety Network and the values of these contracts are as follows:
