MEDICAL CANNABIS — LEGISLATION
528. Hon Dr BRIAN WALKER to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Health:
I refer the minister to the tabling
in the Northern Territory Parliament of a bill to amend the driving laws in
that jurisdiction to create an exemption for medical cannabis patients similar
to that which already exists in Tasmania.
Will the minister undertake to share
that legislation with the ministerial working group when it is eventually
convened as a, dare I say, tiny example of developments being considered in
other Australian jurisdictions?
