APACHE ENERGY GAS PLANT EXPLOSION — GOVERNMENT RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS
Yesterday I asked two questions of the Leader of the House representing the Minister for Energy. He indicated that he did not have an answer. Before I waste the house’s time by asking the questions again, I wonder whether he has an answer for me today. The PRESIDENT : I am sure Hansard will marry the questions with the answer. I was in the papers office a few moments ago, and it was indicated to me that some answers have been prepared but are awaiting the signature of the Minister for Energy, who has been engaged in a debate on a matter of public interest in the other place. He has not yet been able to look at the answers. Hon Norman Moore : Are you referring to the questions that I asked yesterday? Hon KIM CHANCE : I do not know which questions we are talking about. I know that there are a number of questions, some, I imagine, from yesterday and some from today. As I understand, each of those questions is currently before the minister. Hon Norman Moore : Is the Leader of the House saying that he has no answers on behalf of the Minister for Energy today? Hon KIM CHANCE : I believe that is the case, but I will just check my file. Yes, that is the case.
