The following information has been provided to me by the Minister for Health — The Department of Health has paid $14 480 753, including GST, to GlaxoSmithKline Australia Pty Ltd for the period 1 April 2010 to 31 July 2011. In addition, GSK may receive further payment through third party distributors under Western Australian health contract HCNS 11079—supply of pharmaceutical products to Western Australian public health care units. As GSK’s financial relationship is with those distributors, WA Health is unable to provide details of payments made.
