On behalf of the Minister for
Housing representing the Minister for Regional Development, I thank the member
for some notice of the question. I have been provided with the following
response from the minister.
(1)–(2) The
Minister for Regional Development has not personally consulted with members of
the Abbott–Truss government about Geraldton Hospital; however, the WA
Department of Health has made a number of representations and funding
applications to the commonwealth government's health and hospitals
infrastructure fund.
