BUNBURY OUTER HARBOUR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
I have a supplementary question. Does the minister realise that any delay in this project will have a profound impact on a number of strategies of the City of Bunbury, particularly City Vision, and discussions with high-end hotel operators for the construction of badly needed new hotel accommodation? Ms A.J.G. MacTIERNAN

We have made a commitment that certainly the first stage of this project will work in very much with the City Vision project. We see that those two projects should march forward together. There does have to be discipline in financial management. We saw under the Liberal government - Several members interjected. The SPEAKER : I call the member for Dawesville and the member for South Perth to order. Ms A.J.G. MacTIERNAN : Under a Liberal government there were five out of eight budget deficits, because it simply lacked the financial skills that we on the Labor side have repeatedly demonstrated. This project is being considered and is now actively under consideration in the same way that we are reviewing all the projects that we have across the state. A decision will be made in a timely fashion.
