(1) The
appointment was approved by the cabinet of the Barnett government and then
formally executed by the deputy to the Governor.
(2) The recommendation was made by the Public Sector
Commissioner, following a recruitment and selection process.
(3) I am advised
by the Pilbara Development Commission that Dr King resigned for personal
reasons.
I table a copy of
the media release by Hon Brendon Grylls on the occasion of the appointment.
