COMMUNITY SPORTING AND RECREATION FACILITIES
FUND
738. Hon MATT BENSON-LIDHOLM to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Sport and Recreation:
I refer to the community sporting and recreation facilities
fund.
(1) Can the
minister confirm that the current eligible funding round for the fund is the
2013–14 funding round?
(2) If no to
(1), can the minister please advise what the current finding round is and the
cut-off date for that round?
(3) Once
applicants are approved for this funding round, from which financial year will
their funds be drawn?
(4) Why does
the amount allocated to the community sporting and recreation facilities fund
drop from $27.34 million in 2011–12 to $8.491 million in 2015–16?
(5) Does the
minister expect the fund to be increased in 2015–16 to meet the levels
of previous years; and, if so, by how much and where will the funds come from?
