(1) I refer to the Minister's answer to Question on Notice 7308, and note that the Minister for Energy states that Western Power is undertaking the necessary steps to address outstanding issues in regard to recordkeeping in relation to wooden poles in the network, and I ask, when will Western Power achieve this essential standard?
(2) Given that the Minister has chosen not to raise the on-going failure of Western Power to meet the required standards for recordkeeping in relation to wooden poles in the network with the board or management of Western Power during 2012, exactly how will the Minister be informed by Western Power of achievement of the required standards?
(3) Is the Minister intending to personally develop a five point plan with the board and management of Western Power to ensure that Western Power lifts its performance to meet the required standards for recordkeeping in relation to wooden poles in the network, in the same way the Minister for Energy intervened in 2009 with the Synergy billing system?
(4) If yes to (3), is the Minister expecting this personal intervention to achieve the same results as he achieved with the Synergy billing system?
(5) Has the Minister given any directions, made any suggestions or given any advice to the board or management of Western Power concerning the corporation lifting its performance to meet the required standards for recordkeeping in relation to wooden poles in the network?
(6) Can the Minister specify any actions he has taken to ensure that Western Power lifts its performance to meet the required standards for recordkeeping in relation to wooden poles in the network?
