1) The Regional Venues Improvement Fund has been developed to support and strengthen performing arts throughout Western Australia and connect regional venues to the national touring network.
2) Applications for funding to meet capital infrastructure needs for the visual arts sector in regional Western Australia can be made to Lotterywest under the Community and Workplace Buildings category and from Royalties for Regions through the State's nine regional development commissions.
3) Three of the Creative Regions Schemes are aimed at supporting performing arts touring circuits, one is aimed at supporting the viability of Aboriginal Art Centres, and one is aimed at supporting regionally based artists and arts organisations across artforms.
4) The Creative Regions Program was developed following stakeholder consultation, research of community needs and the development of a comprehensive business case.
