HOSKEN
STREET–NORTH WEST COASTAL HIGHWAY INTERSECTION, GERALDTON
278. Hon DARREN WEST to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to my letter of 15 December
2014 to the minister and the reply signed by his chief of staff on 10 March
2015 regarding the intersection of Hosken Street and North West Coastal Highway
in Geraldton.
(1) What short to
medium-term options are being considered to address the issues currently being
experienced by commuters using this intersection?
(2) When will these options be put
in place?
(3) Given the
high level of community concern about the dangers posed to schoolchildren, why
will the minister not take this concern into account and allocate the funding
required to make this intersection safer?
