I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) No; the Pastoralists and Graziers Association declined my invitation. It is for the association, not me, to advise its reasons for declining. (2) I believe that the reference group is due to meet in the next few days, for the first time. I met with the chairman and one of the members of the group today on another matter, and I am advised that the pre-meeting literature has been delivered. In fact, I received some complaints about the scale of that literature. (3) No such trials that I am aware of have been authorised.
