I refer to the recent opening of Suffolk Street, Caversham and ask: (a) what plans are currently in place to extend bus services in Caversham; and (b) what are the current plans concerning the future location of Bennett St/Patricia St (Stop No: 21997)?

(a) Transperth plans to extend the bus route 340 service beyond the current terminus on Bennett Street to Suffolk Street, Caversham. The extension of the service is a funded project pending the provision of a suitable terminus on Suffolk Street.
(b) Transperth does not have plans to withdraw stop 21997 in the future. This stop remains on the long term alignment for the bus route 340 service and has recently been upgraded to comply with specifications as stipulated by the Disability Discrimination Act for bus stops.
