FAMILY AND
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE FATALITY REVIEW PROCESS
389. Hon
ALISON XAMON to the Minister for Child Protection:
I refer to the minister's statement on 3 May 2012, ''Domestic
Violence — Strengthening Responses'', and to the establishment
of a family and domestic violence fatality review process.
(1) Have any terms of reference been developed to guide the
Ombudsman's investigations?
(2) If yes, what are the terms of reference?
(3) Will the
domestic violence fatality review process have the capacity to include
investigations into cases such as that of Saori Jones?
(4) If no, why not?
(5) How often will the Ombudsman report findings from the
fatality review process?
(6) How many additional FTE have been allocated for the fatality
review process?

AnswerView source ↗

question.

Ombudsman is responsible for developing the family and domestic violence
