I refer to the Treasurer’s Advance Authorisation and provisions made in the budget for the Department of Environment and Conservation, in particular the $15.3 million for wildfire suppression, and I ask:
(a) reference is made to ‘issues under consideration’ and I ask to what decision-making process is this referring;
(b) given that issues are still ‘under consideration’, how has the figure of $15.3 million been arrived at;
(c) is any part of the $15.3 million related to additional resources to conduct the post-Boorabbin review; and
(i) if so, how much;
(d) does any of the $15.3 million include additional funding required for fire-fighting activities in the 2009–2010 period; and
(i) please specify what amount, if any;
(e) does any of the $15.3 million include additional funding required for consultancy services; and
(i) if so, how much and by whom are these services performed;
(f) does any of the $15.3 million represent additional loadings or remuneration to fire-fighters; and
(i) if so, how much; and
(g) does any of the $15.3 million include expenditure or anticipated expenditure on capital works; and
(i) if so, how much and for what works?
