AMENDMENT
1240. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the minister representing the
Minister for Planning:
I refer to the request by the City
of Kalamunda to the WA Planning Commission to initiate a metropolitan region
scheme amendment for the Pickering Brook town site expansion.
(1) On what date
was the city's request received by the WAPC?
(2) What is the
current status of this request?
(3) When is a decision
expected by the WAPC on whether the MRS amendment should be initiated?

been provided by the Minister for Planning.

The metropolitan region scheme amendment request remains under assessment as
the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage continues to work through a number
of significant constraints, including bushfire risk.
