I refer to the
ongoing issue of defective street lighting on the northern section of the
Tonkin Highway, formerly known as NorthLink.

Is Main Roads Western Australia aware that large sections of streetlighting
have been defective now for several years?
(2)
When did Main Roads last audit these streetlights to ensure they are operating
effectively?
(3)
Will the minister direct Main Roads to immediately rectify all defective
streetlighting on this section of highway?

Some sections of road have been impacted by the repeated theft of copper
streetlighting cables. Main Roads regularly audits all road lighting assets and
will investigate what works are required to repair this section.
