(1) It is acknowledged that not everyone has access to the Transperth website. However, Transperth endeavours to comply with disability guidelines which recommend a minimum print typeface size of 11 point. The standard font size of the West Australian display advertisements is 5 point. Information provided via the Transperth infoline is provided at a standard call cost (this is cheaper than the purchase price of the West Australian). Changes to services are also published on on-board posters. When significant route changes are implemented communication activities are conducted such as: Direct mail; Community newspaper advertising; and Community consultation forums. (2) For the months of April, May and June 2000 the total cost of public notices was $16 980.48. This is approximately $5 660.16 per month.
