The Department of Health advises:
(a) 200 staff are employed in the Peel Health Campus Emergency Department, comprising of 91 nursing staff, 80 medical staff and 29 non-clinical support staff.
(b) The Emergency Department currently has a Registered Nurse vacancy of 9.4 FTE (including a specific Staff Development Nurse).
(b)(i) Positions have been advertised and recruitment is ongoing. Rosters are filled with part-time and casual staff, and agency ensuring that the department is fully staffed.
