I refer to the proposed Bridgetown Bypass, and ask -
(1) Will the Minister provide a detailed plan of the route that is proposed to be taken?
(2) Will the Bridgetown-Greenbushes Council have an input into the entrance and exit of the proposed route?
(3) I understand that the proposed route that has been circulated is totally different to the route that was expected by the local council. Will the Minister allow changes to be made?

(2) Yes. Main Roads intends to review these connections and will work very closely with the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes in that regard. (3) The route shown on the plan circulated to Council and affected landowners is identical to Option 3 as shown in Department for Planning and Infrastructure reports previously considered by Council. There is some scope for Main Roads to make marginal changes to the route and this includes minor alignment changes and, as requested by Council, Main Roads is assessing the potential to extend the Bypass to the north.
