OUTCOMES-BASED EDUCATION - COURSES OF STUDY
In light of the recent modifications to the courses for years 11 and 12 - (1) Will the earth and environmental science course proceed in full in 2007 or will it be delayed? (2) When will teachers and other stakeholders be notified of the status of this course? (3) Why has the minister not met with representatives of Earth Science Western Australia to discuss their involvement and financial commitment of more than $300 000 towards the implementation of the earth and environmental science course, despite numerous requests for a meeting? I have just had a close look at the answer to part (3) of the question and I am not satisfied with it. However, I will provide the answer and give the member an undertaking to provide him with some additional information. Is the member happy with that? Hon Barry House : No, not really.
