I refer to the Department of Environment and Conservation's intention to have in place 'at least 250 fit-for-duty frontline fire-fighters in the South West for the 2012-13 fire season (answer provided to my question on notice No. 16(e) asked at the Budget Estimates hearing on 8 June 2012) and noting that 267 Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) fire-fighter's were stationed in the South West in 2011-12, and ask —
(1) Is it the Minister's intention to reduce the number of DEC fire-fighters in the South West for the 2012-13 fire season?
(2) If yes to (1), what is the rationale for this?
(3) Will the Minister undertake that at least 267 DEC fire-fighters will be available in the South West for the 2012-13 fire season?
