CORONAVIRUS —
PLACES OF WORSHIP
1190. Hon SIMON O'BRIEN to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to the arrangements in place
to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
(1) What are the current
restrictions on gatherings of people and places of worship?
(2) Is the
government willing to contemplate relaxing this level of restriction—for
example, in the case of a congregation able
to demonstrate a capacity for contact tracing comparable with that of a ticketed
venue?

I
will add that if the honourable member wants me to tell him the current
conditions, which have not changed , I will provide him with a copy of
that.
(2) The government is currently
considering specific provisions for places of worship.
