I refer to the Labor "Plan for Peel" and ask: (a) Does the Government still intend on investing $4.99 million towards the development of the Peel Youth Medical Service Health Hub to provide much needed care and support for young people in the Peel Region: (i) If yes, when does the government intend on releasing the funds and to what organisation; and (ii) If no, why not; and (b) Has the Minister or any representative of the Minister's office, departments or agencies met with the Peel Youth Medical Service to discuss the funding of this project: (i) If yes, when did that meeting take place and what was the nature of those meetings; and (ii) If no, why not?

(a) Yes. As per the McGowan Government’s election commitment, the Government has committed $4.99 million towards the development of the Peel Youth Medical Services Health Hub.
(a)(i) The McGowan Government released $2.5 million in grant funding on 30 June 2017 to GP Down South to progress the design and construction works. The remaining grant funding will be released over the next two financial periods as the project progresses.
(a)(ii) Not applicable.
(b) Yes.
(b)(i) On Wednesday, 21 June 2017, a representative of the Department of Health on behalf of the Minister met with the CEO of GP Down South (Peel Youth Medical Service) to discuss the Peel Youth Medical Service Health Hub.
(b)(ii) Not applicable.
