Hon Adele Farina asks about bed occupancy rates in the High Dependency Unit (HDU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Bunbury Regional Hospital for the financial years 2010-11, 2011-12, and 2012-13. The response indicates data collection limitations prior to December 2012, providing occupancy data only from that point forward.

I refer to the Bunbury Regional Hospital, and I ask: (a) for each of 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13, what was the bed occupancy in the high dependency unit (HDU); and (b) for each of 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13, what was the bed occupancy in the Intensive Care Unit, excluding the HDU beds?

(b) The Bunbury Regional Hospital ICU opened in December 2012. Bed occupancy (occupied bed days) for 13/12/12-2013 was 388.
