(1) Will the Minister please advise on the progress in planning and costing of the new school to replace Yakamia Primary?
(2) Regarding the former school site on Mt Melville, can the Minister please advise:
(a) who owns the land;
(b) if it is the Department, then what are the plans for the future of the site; and
(c) who has responsibility for the asbestos liability of the buildings on the site?
(3) Regarding the community oval development at Flinders Park Primary School can the Minister please advise on the progress of the development?

(1) The project is currently in the very early stages of planning, consequently costing has not yet been finalised. It is expected that construction will commence during 2010 with Stage 1 of the project being completed in 2011.
(2)(a) Since 2003, the site is under the care, control and management of the Albany Aboriginal Corporation.
2(b) & 2(c) Not Applicable
(3) The land developer is awaiting approval from the Department of Environment and Conservation before subdivision of the land can proceed.
