LIQUOR RESTRICTIONS — KIMBERLEY
497. Hon KEN BASTON to the minister representing the
Minister for Racing and Gaming:
I refer to the article that appeared
on page 4 of the 18 May edition of The West Australian about the
pending announcement of restrictions on how much alcohol can be carried in a vehicle
within the Kimberley.
(1) Is the minister aware of when
these measures will be announced?
(2) Will there be
simple and appropriate exemptions available to tourism businesses and remote
workers, such as those on pastoral properties?
