Decarbonisation—LNG exports—Deloitte report
1185. Hon Sophie McNeill to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to the
leaked draft of the $400,000 government-commissioned report prepared by
Deloitte titled Assessing the decarbonisation role
of Western Australia's LNG exports to Asia , dated December 2024, and the
final report dated 16 March 2025.
How many times did
the Premier's office communicate with Deloitte regarding the report between
when cabinet first received the draft in January and the final report received
in March?
I seek leave to
table the report referenced in my question.
Leave denied.

The Department of
the Premier and Cabinet commissioned Deloitte to develop the report, not the
Premier's office. Deloitte has confirmed that at no point did it alter the
report, modelling or findings in response to external pressures and it stands
by its conclusions.
