I refer the Minister to page 20 of the transcript of evidence taken on Tuesday, 9 December 2008 for the Standing Committee on Estimates and Financial Operations and ask:
(a) can the Minister confirm that the Public Transport Authority (PTA) receive more complaints from users of the Midland line regarding overcrowding than any other metropolitan train line;
(b) does the PTA have in place a complaints register for public transport users;
(c) if yes, how many complaints were received in relation to the Midland line in each of the following years:
(i) 2006,
(ii) 2007,
(iii) 2008,
(iv) 2009;
(d) if not, why not; and
(e) how many of the complaints received related to the issue of overcrowding?
