parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Forestry:
I hope Hon Jim Chown has an answer.
(1) Does the
Forest Products Commission provide, or has it provided, any money directly or
indirectly to the Forest Industries Federation of Western Australia or to any
of its corporate partners?
(2) If yes to (1) —
(a) to what entity; and
(b) how much in each of the past five
years?

$5 000, excluding GST, in the 2015–16 financial year to the WA Forest
Communities Network; $8 000, excluding GST, in the 2013–14 financial
year to the Forest Industries Federation WA; and, $2 580, excluding GST, in the
2012–13 financial year to the Forest Industries Federation WA.

Forest Products Commission provides a service for the collection of FIFWA
membership fees from its contractors. Fees collected are forwarded directly to
FIFWA and are not reflected in the figures above.
