I refer to the previously announced hotel to be built next to The Quarter development in Karratha, and I ask: (a) when was the Minister last advised or updated on the progress of the hotel’s development; (b) based on that advice or update, when is construction of the hotel anticipated to be finalised; (c) what is the current name of the company, organisation or joint venture securing finance for the hotel development; and (d) will the hotel still be branded a “Doubletree/Hilton” hotel and if not, what will it be branded?

(a) On 6 July 2015, I was advised the exclusive working period with the proponent, Ramtron, had been terminated and that LandCorp is now considering alternate development / release options for the site.
(b) Construction timeframe is unknown until development / release options are finalised.
