I refer to drink driving, and ask: (a) How many people received an infringement notice with demerit points for drink driving in each of the past five years and year to date; (b) How many people were automatically disqualified for drink driving in each of the past five years and year to date; (c) In each of the past five years and year to date, how many people according to gender recorded a reading of between 0.05 and 0.079, 0.08 to .09, and .1 to .15; and (d) In each of the past five years and year to date, how many people according to gender recorded a reading above .15?

Automatic licence disqualification was determined using the following scenarios:
Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) recordings were determined using the calculated reading, which is used to determine the severity of the infringement or charge.
For infringements, the year occurred was determined using the date the notice was issued.
For charges, the year occurred was determined using the date the offence started.
Figures exclude infringements that have been withdrawn or cancelled.
Figures exclude charges where the associated brief or case has been deleted, or where security caveats are in place.
