It is incredible that in that motion, which I would think the Opposition would want us to take seriously, it says the first financial year that ought to be looked at in respect of the Western Australian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations is 2000-01. It is interesting. Why would the Opposition not go back before 2000-01? The reason for that is sitting behind the Leader of the Opposition, and he is called the member for Darling Range.

If he adopts that approach up to the next election, his party will go nowhere, because many issues in this State require serious analysis and a contribution, and also some bipartisan spirit, which we never get from the Opposition for any legislation that is put forward. I repeat what I said yesterday: first, the questions that were brought to my attention by Ms Jean Thornton were addressed thoroughly and comprehensively, as they deserved to be; and, secondly, I have confidence in the former Minister for Health and now Minister for Tourism.
