AUSTRALIAN WORKPLACE AGREEMENTS
I refer the Premier to union demands for the Labor Party to adopt as its federal policy the abolition of Australian workplace agreements, and in particular the strike constraint provisions. (1) Is the Premier concerned that a return of union militancy disrupting the mining sector could diminish our state’s future investment and job prospects? (2) If so, will the Premier defend our state’s future economic prosperity by calling on the federal Labor leadership to reject union demands on workplace agreements and constraints on irresponsible strike action? Hon KIM CHANCE
