Continuing to post water quality test results to yatch clubs, interested individuals, varoius media centres and on the RIA website; Provision of information in the annual Marine and Boating Guide, provided free of charge to the boating community; Adoption of the Annapolis protocol for water testing to determine base line bacteria levels in bays, and associated refinement and analysis of the water quality testing program; The preferred model for effluent recieval facility is awaiting stakeholder feedback. (b) Any system of effluent containment requires the fitting of holding tanks, and many older vessels do not have such devices or space to install them without significant modification. Rottnest Island is not connected to the mainland sewer, where existing feasibility on the use of the product supplied by World waste Solutions Pty Ltd has already been undertaken by the company. Investigations are underway to determine what the Rottnest sewerage system can recieve in terms of marine effluent and treatment chemicals. (c) World Waste Solutions Pty Ltd have been requested to supply a breakdown of its product chemical analysis so that its product suitability cann be determined for input into the Rottnest sewerage system.
