LINE PROGRAM — MARKETFORCE CONTRACT
822. Hon LYNN MacLAREN to the
Minister for Fisheries:
I refer to question without notice 766 on 13 August 2014.
(1) Please
state the total sum of money paid to date to Marketforce for its contract to
develop and implement a community engagement strategy for the management of
shark hazards in Western Australia.
(2) Is the contractual arrangement still valid and continuing?
(3) If no to (2), why not?
(4) When is the
third milestone report from Marketforce, originally due in April 2014, now
expected to be completed?
(5) Please table
all other plans and reports produced to date under this contract referred to in
tabled paper 1757, including the ''Communications plan'' and ''Working
updates on stakeholder engagement & resulting implications''.

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) The total
amount is $438 557.16, including GST, which includes ongoing live updates and
Twitter feeds, stakeholder editing and maintaining publishing protocols, and
update of website content.
(2) Yes.
(3) Not applicable.
(4) It is expected to be completed
in the week commencing 1 September 2014.
(5) It is not
feasible to provide the answer to this question in the time required;
therefore, I ask the member to put the question on notice.
