(a) The principal aim of the WA Fellowships Program is to attract distinguished researchers of international prominence, from interstate or overseas, to build and lead research teams within the State to undertake world-class research that is of significant benefit to Western Australia.
There are no future fellowships on offer to Western Australian-based scientists as they are not eligible to apply to the WA Fellowships Program. This is consistent with the intent of the Program which has been running since 2003.
(b) The current fellowships expire:
• Professor Andrew Whiteley- 12 November 2016
• Professor Carole Jackson - 1 August 2017
• Professor Mark Jessell-
