I refer to the Disability Justice Centre on Lord Street in
Caversham.
(1) How many people are currently residing in the centre?
(2) Have there been any unauthorised absences from the centre
since it opened?
(3) Has the
Mentally Impaired Accused Review Board recommended placement in the centre for
any person who has been charged with a sex offence?

I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1) There are two people.
(2) No.
(3) I wish to
reiterate my previous assurances and confidence that we have the systems and
procedures in place to safeguard the community whilst also providing the
residents of the centre with safety, social justice and the best possible
chance of successful re-entry to community living.
Given the small number of people
residing in the centre at any given time, there is a risk that providing any
further information may reveal the identity of a resident or residents.

(3) I wish to
