In regards to the infill sewerage program, can the Minister please advise -
(1) How much of the $800 million committed in 1995 has to date been spent?
(2) Of the 111,000 homes to be connected under the program how many have been connected?
(3) What percentage of homes connected were in regional areas?
(4) What timeframe now exists to spend the remaining capital?
(5) Does a priority list exist for remaining areas still to be captured under a program?

(1) $711.4 million. (2) 80,263 property connections have been provided to the end of the 2004/2005 financial year. (3) 26.4% property connections have been provided in regional areas. (4) The Government is committed to the delivery of the infill sewerage program and will review future funding levels as part of the budget process. Future funding decisions to enhance the delivery of the program are subject to the technical and financial capacity of the Water Corporation and its contractor's to deliver the necessary projects within a certain timeframe. Currently $10 million per year is included in the Water Corporation's forward estimates for infill sewerage projects. (5) No priority listing has been developed for properties not covered by the Infill Sewerage Program. (6) This information is not currently available. The Infill Sewerage Program has targeted existing residential developments serviced by the Water Corporation. Not all properties in Western Australia are serviced by the Corporation. (7) This has not been evaluated for the same reasons as stated in (6) above.
