REGIONAL WESTERN AUSTRALIA
942. Hon ROBIN SCOTT to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Mental Health:
I
refer to question without notice 925 asked yesterday about the increase in
alcohol abuse and antisocial behaviour in regional WA as a result of the JobSeeker payments. In reply, I was
advised that as part of the government's response to the issue,
funding for alcohol and other drug prevention officers in all regions in
regional Western Australia had been increased.
(1) Which agencies were provided
with funding and how much were they given?
(2) How will the government measure
the success of these agencies?
