(1) For each year of 2010, 2011 and 2012, how many full time equivalent speech therapists worked in the South West region?
(2) In relation to (1) and for each of the years specified in (1), how many of the speech therapists —
(a) worked in the public health system; and
(b) worked in the private health system?

(1) As at the end of June each year, the Speech Pathologist (full-time equivalent) FTE for the South West region was:

2011 - 15.95
2012 - 13.42
(2)(a)-(b) In relation to (1), the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is only able to report on employees of WACHS and therefore the figure provided is for the public health system only.
The private health system is unable to be reported by WACHS. Speech therapists provide services through their private consulting rooms and private hospitals.
