I refer to COVID-19 vaccinations of Western Australian (WA) children, and I ask: (a) how many Western Australians aged 18 years and younger received a COVID-19 vaccination between 1 October 2021 and 30 June 2023; (b) can the Minister confirm that COVID-19 vaccines were initially deemed to be safe and effective for all children, and that they are now no longer recommended as the risks outweigh the benefits; (c) can the Minister outline what risks of COVID-19 vaccinations for people under 18 years of age are known to the WA Department of Health; and (d) is the WA Department of Health conducting ongoing surveillance of possible long-term impacts of COVID-19 vaccines on Western Australians who received them as children?
